In February 2015, executives Chad Stahelski and David Leitch uncovered that a John Wick continuation was right now in development.The same month, CEO of Lionsgate Jon Feltheimer made a declaration amid a phone call, expressing “We see John Wick as a different title activity establishment”. Also, it was accounted for that Kolstad will come back to compose the screenplay.In May 2015, it was affirmed that the continuation was greenlit and Lionsgate would offer the film at the forthcoming Cannes Film Festival. It was reported that Keanu Reeves, Leitch, and Stahelski would come back to the film with taping set to start in late 2015
